EuroVolley 2026 is played in Tampere on 10-17 September
Finland’s leg of the CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026 Men gets under way today, 10 September, as Tampere’s Nokia Arena stages volleyball for the first time in the venue’s history.
Finland was selected as one of four host countries for the men’s European Championship, and next week Tampere will host one of four six-team preliminary groups, running through 17 September. Even 13,000 spectators can fit in Nokia Arena, one of Finland’s largest and most modern indoor venues, for the occasion.
Alongside Finland, the tournament is co-hosted by Italy, Bulgaria and Romania. In total, 24 national teams are competing in 76 matches between 9 and 26 September 2026.
Bringing EuroVolley to Nokia Arena is part of a broader strategic push in Finnish volleyball to drive growth, visibility, and new audiences for the sport.
