Tampere gets ready for GRIP – a next-level action sports centre
By the end of December, Tampere will welcome something truly unique: a multipurpose sports and activity centre, GRIP Action Sports Hub, designed to meet the highest international standards!
Sport Event Management Finland got to see the centre as a work in progress, and it already shows its potential. Spread across six floors, the centre will bring together:
- GRIP SkatePark – Olympic-standard facilities for skateboarding, scootering, BMX and roller sports.
- Tampere Climbing Centre – challenges for everyone, from families and beginners to elite-level climbers and international competitions.
- Sports centre FUN – modern fitness, group training and personal coaching.
- Restaurant, meeting & sauna facilities – the perfect setting for events, relaxation and networking, complete with stunning city views from the top floor.
Just a stone’s throw from the centre of the City of Tampere, GRIP is set to become a year-round hub for sport and well-being, whether you come to train, compete, or enjoy the atmosphere.
