Women’s Euro Hockey Tour in Finland – Last stop before the Olympics
The Finnish tournament of the Women’s Euro Hockey Tour was held in Lahti and Hämeenlinna, offering players their final opportunity to prove themselves before the upcoming Winter Olympics 2026.
The Finnish women’s national ice hockey team, Naisleijonat, faced Sweden on December 10 and Switzerland on December 11 in Lahti, followed by a matchup against Czechia on December 12 in Hämeenlinna.
In total, six games were played, of which four were played in Lahti, bringing around 160 players and staff members to the host cities.
